I have a new book releasing on Tuesday. It’s a self-published labor of love (and loss). So, it’s making its way into the world without the aid of professional publishing, marketing, or distribution. I don’t have a large budget to distribute promotional copies, and I’m not running ads. I’m praying that the Lord would help it find its way into the hands of the hurting men (and women) who need it.
The book is Dads Hurt Too: A Father’s Memoir of Miscarriage. It’s a first-person narratival piece recounting my experience with our four miscarriages and how Christ comforted me in each. Jenny contributed a short appendix (and helped me record her portion in the audiobook).
Here’s how you can help:
- Pray. Would you take a moment to pray that God will put this book into the hands of grieving fathers — especially men who need to know the good news of Jesus Christ?
- Share. If you’d like to share on social media, here’s a link to the book’s page on Amazon: amzn.to/48rwDkb
- Buy a copy. Even if you haven’t (and won’t) walk through miscarriage, I’m hopeful the truths in this book will encourage you in any season of loss and pain. Moreover, even if you won’t experience a miscarriage, it’s almost certain you know someone who has or will. Consider keeping a copy on hand for when the occasion arises. It’s available in:
- Review. If you buy a copy, please consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads.
- Goodreads. Add it to your “To Read” shelf in Goodreads. (Enter this giveaway before October 14.)
